About me
My name is Ángel Gonzalez, and I was born in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. Two years ago I moved to the Netherlands, to a beautiful area named the Veluwe.
I have always liked to paint, but I had little spare time, so l could not develope my skills very well.
When I was young and I had to decide upon what to study, I seriously considered studying fine arts.
But my parents told me it would be difficult to make a living with that study, so finally I decided to study Arquitecture (Building Engineering), which at least was also a creative study.
I continued to paint in my spare time. I tried to learn it by myself (youtube and others websites helped me) but it was not enough. In 2018 I did a course with a professional painter in Jerez de la Frontera (Spain), her name is Rocio Cano, and I learnt a lot from her. She motivated me to take the painting hobby more serious, and take it as a professional challenge.
Now that I am in the Netherlands, a country known for its famous artists, I am keen becoming one of these artists. Maybe less known, but who knows...😉
